A Poem For Mom

Dear Mom, You took one look at me then brought me home, You fed and nutured me until full grown. You taught me things needed for life, To help me cope with any rife. Though some years were filled with pain, You kept us going again and again. Children were your greatest joy, Whether it be girl or boy. You were a very good friend, With a hand to offer or lend. Though some times we didn't agree, You always worked it out with me. Now I have to say good-bye, To make it without you I must try. No more of your voice will I hear, To have that back would be dear. Though I know you're without pain, I wish you could still remain. I understand why you had to go, I still wish it wasn't so. You're now with friends and family passed, To be reunited at long last. You will always be in my heart, To live without you while apart. I thank God for having you as my mother, I couldn't imagine any other. Mom I will always love you, For being loving, kind and true. Good-bye is hard to say, Until we meet again some day. Love Tina
