John was born in St. John’s Newfoundland on April 1, 1928 to Agnes and Frederick Morry. He moved to Vancouver in 1949 driving his mother and 5 of his 7 siblings across the continent. John was a skilled machinist.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Linda Anderson and son-in-law Ed; grandchildren Rachel Shaw, Sara Stanisavljevic (Milan), Kerry and Kyle Anderson and great granddaughter Katarina Stanisavljevic. He is predeceased by his daughter Catherine Marie Shaw (Morry) in 1997 and Susan Rooney in 2013; siblings Paula, Rose Marie, Agnes, Sheila, Mary, Joan, George and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 19th at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church 3141 Shaughnessy St. Port Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
