Condolence From: Terence O'Shea
Condolence: Extremely sad to discover this news. Mr.Cool (as I knew him) was my first violin teacher (from the age of 5/6) and I can't express how grateful I am for his teaching, patience and guidance. The ability to play music is one of my greatest joys and I will forever be grateful to Mr.Cool for giving me such an incredible gift. A true gentleman and a such a kind person, he's a great loss.

Condolence: Dearest Marg and Stephen. Tried many times to get you on the phone no luck. You know I loved Gordon as a brother even though he was my cousin. Both Gordon and I agreed I was like a sister to him. Memories are flooding over me . Marg I left a message that I was thinking of you and what a shock this must of been. Nanny Cool,s Birthday was the same Date as Gordons passing OCt 22nd. Please stay strong and know you are loved and I so miss coming up north to the memorial I just couldn't as Our son Derek is coming tonight to see Bernie as he is failing. I would give up my Hubby as he has no quality of life, to have Gordons life saved. , All people that met my cousin loved him. prayers and thoughts are with you all. Love Miriam

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Gord's passing. He taught violin at the Douglas College Community Music School during the years when I was in charge. He was such a lovely man–so kind and devoted to his students and their families. I always appreciated his calm demeanor and his wisdom. All my best wishes to his family.

Condolence: Shocked and saddened with the passing of such a wonderful man. So many memories of him being a part of my childhood/teenage years in church, and in later years as an adult and a parent myself. I will miss your smile and laughter, and the warm bear hugs you always gave. Your memories will live on through all that had the pleasure of knowing you. Heaven has gained an amazing angel. RIP Gordon, hugs and condolences to Marg & Stephen and all other family members.

Condolence: hi Steve - - so sorry to hear of your dad's sudden passing - my condolences to you and of course, to your mom, Maggie, Matthew and Jamie. On reading his life story, I was struck by his love of travel and his passion for those things he loved. I was also moved by your attention to detail in telling his life story and your delightful sense of humour in the telling.
I wish you much support in your grieving process and wish we were there to attend his service and drink a toast to Gordon....so please know we will be thinking of you in Toronto on Nov 2, and onwards.
Love to all, Joan
