Obituary for Lois Corrine Henderson (Johnson)

Lois Corrine Henderson (Johnson)
Lois was born on January 22,1922 in a farmhouse in Mannville, Alberta minutes after her sister, Luella.

There to welcome her were her parents Charles and Cora, sister Clarice and brothers Clint and Murriel.

The twins spent much of there childhood on horseback. This is where Lois developed her love of all animals especially horses and dogs.

After school the twins moved to Edmonton to work. Here Lois met the love of her life Cecil Henderson.

They were married in Mannville on July 21, 1945. The newlyweds set up home in Whonnock, B.C., where they were living when both of their children were born, Hugh in 1949 and Lynne in 1953. From Whonnock they moved to the Sunshine Coast, Port Moody and Port Coquitlam where they stayed until after Cec`s death in 1998.

Lois spent the last seven years of her life in the Burquitlam Lions Care Centre battling Alzheimer's.

Of the five children in her family and ten in Cec`s Lois is only survived by Murriel`s widow, Dimp and Cec`s brother , Scott.

Left to mourn are Hugh (Heather) and Lynne (Merle) grandchildren Chelsea, Kailee and Lloyd and may nieces and nephews.
