Alain Desfossés

Hi, my name is Alain and I am one of Mado's nephew. I want to offer my sincerest condolences to Mado's husband, Norman, to her three daughter's, Danielle, Kathleen and Francine, my three cousins, and also, to their respective families. Norman, Danielle, Kathleen, Francine, I read the letter Isabelle wrote you. She pretty much got it spot on, nothing much to add. The piercing blue eyes, the straightforward, unpretentious, yet humourous way of " telling it like it is ! ", the " it's not a big deal, we'll get through this. And even if it is a big deal, we'll get through it. " attitude. Pretty much nailed it. I can't help but think she put in a good word for us back east to the " old man " cause we got a B.C. type of winter day for her life celebration day. I don't have any kids of my own, but I'm helping a friend take care of her three years old. I'm teaching him stuff, but just by being a kid who needs a father figure, he's teaching me too. He's teaching me that we need to show we care to people we care about. Not just say it ... do it ! With the passing of Estelle, Pierrette and now, your wife and mom, I regret more and more not having taken the time to " show I cared " to the ones I cared about. Let's hope hers and his life lessons don't go wasted on me. I owe her at least that much. R.I.P. Mado. We love you !
