1933-2013
Mary Ann Williams, 80, of Port Moody, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at her family home with loved ones by her side, into the arms of Jesus. She was born January 29, 1933 in Vancouver, British Columbia, the daughter of Richter Olai and Marie Johanne Iverson.
Mary Ann graduated from Lord Byng High School in Vancouver with the class of 1951. On July 23, 1955 she was united in marriage to Wallace Williams in Vancouver. She was a devoted wife and a devoted mother, who’s other interests included puzzles, sewing, knitting, needlework, bowling and Bridge with the ladies.
She is survived by her husband Wallace (Wally) H. Williams of Port Moody; three children, Wayne (Cheryl) Williams of Penticton, BC, Glenn Williams of Langley, and Johanne (Frank) Brams of Surrey, BC; seven grandchildren, Candace Williams, Christopher Brams, Nicholas Williams, Jessica Brams, Daphne Williams, Cassiel Williams and Chae-Lynn Williams.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richter Iverson, mother, Marie (Janna) Iverson, brother Roy Iverson and twin brother, Lou Iverson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to: Normana Lodge, 7725 – 4th Street, Burnaby, BC V3N 5B6
