I knew Mary Anne when she and Lana still lived at 6 mile. At that time she drove a rabbit volkswagon and was going to school in Castlegar. Being a poor student she ran out of gas now and again. What she taught me was that it's always better to run out of gas when you're going down hill. Not when you're on the big orange bridge, which did happen. Another thing that my friend taught me was that when you have a nice tomato for a sandwhich that you cut it in great thick slabs. She told me that day that if you want to have a tomato sandwhich then Have a tomato sandwhich. Makes me smile. And I always have big slabs,now. I never knew her to swear or gossip and because that I became aware of my own habits. She taught me to be conscience of good manners. I loved her with all my heart and I hope I taught things. R.I.P.
