I had the pleasure of knowing Marylou since the late nineties when I started playing bridge. She soon became my friend and later my favorite bridge partner. But I had to share her with many as she became "favorite partner" to almost anyone she played with. Temperament is big in bridge and she had it in spades. Always friendly and respectful to partners and opponents alike, you could take her to slam off 2 aces and she would say "thankyou partner" and do her best.
We shared many girls' bridge trips over the years and had a lot of laughs. Since Mirko retired, he joined us on bridge trips tp Penticton and Seaside and we enjoyed a wonderful cruise from New York to Quebec City. It is incredibly sad that Marylou didn't have more time and we will miss her greatly.
Mike and I send our heartfelt condolences to Mirko, David, Jessica, Jason and the entire family.
