Mathilde "Til"  Gibson (Labarre)
GIBSON, Mathilde Myra (Til), passed away peacefully on Sept. 23/15 after a brief illness. Born Aug. 21, 1924, in Gananoque, Ont., to Édouard and Alma LaBarre, Til was predeceased by husband, Ray Valleau, and sons Jeffrey and George (Shirley). Loving mother to Valerie (Peter), Cathy (Steve), Liz (Mike) and Greg (Connie) and loving grandma to Daniel, Devon, Kelly, Jeff, Hayley, Justin, Megan, Josh, Shannon, Ethan and Abby. Dear friend to many, including Bette, Sherrie, Ana, Margaret and the Barros family. Leaves behind also numerous relatives, nieces and nephews, who will miss her too.

Mom was an avid Scrabble player and enjoyed a good crossword puzzle and watching Corrie Street. She loved working at Gibson Waterworks, still putting in the occasional day there. Teller of stories from her past, incl growing up on Woodburn Rd and working at the Silver Grill with her sister Gerry. Til was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
