The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Neil Van Paridon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Corey Bow
Condolence: Liz and Neil were my first friends when I moved to Surrey from Prince George in grade 11. Neil was a wonderful friend with an excellent sense of humour. Not only that, he was the smartest person at school. Although I lost touch after university, I was fortunate to see Neil before he left us. I could see the great love between Liz and Neil. I am sorry for your loss. I do feel blessed to have known him and have spent time with him during our formative years.

Condolence: Dear Liz, Aunt Mary, my dear cousins and their families-
I still find it unreal that the kind, gentle man I met 2 years ago is no longer with you. Nothing was ever too much for him. It was very evident to witness his love for Liz and his family. He would sit back and watch the antics of his siblings and their families with obvious pride. With love, cousin Laura

Condolence: As I managed the facilities department at Westminster Savings and Neil was with Information Systems our jobs often crossed. Neil was always so helpful and pleasant, and I really enjoyed working with him. After he moved on to Telus we didn't see too much of him, but every so often the blue car would be in the parking lot and I knew Neil would be in the building. He always came to our department to say Hi and to catch up. He was, simply put, one of the nicest people that I have every met and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family.
