Anne Davidson

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Anne Davidson- at The Salvation Army's Buchannan Lodge in New Westminster on April 23rd 2014 at the age of 73. Anne had been struggling with the transformative challenge of Alzheimer's. The beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, nurse and mentor is survived by her husband of 47yrs Tom and 5 children: Lorrie (Steve), Larry (Simone), Angela, Cheryl (Josh), and Michelle (Mike) and 6 grandchildren: Alex, Rachel, Natalie, Brooklynn, Owen and Olivia. Anne was born in Lloydminster, Alberta in 1940 and went to nursing school at the Royal Alex in Edmonton Alberta. Anne was married to Doug Sherwin. The young mother of 2 was widowed at the young age of 23 . Later, she married Tom Davidson and moved to the West Coast. They settled in Coquitlam for the next 47 years and added to their family. Anne was very active in her community of Coquitlam. She was always there with an ear for a friend, a place at the table for the hungry and a warm bed to stay for the weary traveler. She volunteered on numerous charities and sat on Share Society Board. Anne believed in living your life in service of others. Anne loved nursing and had a long career. Anne was a head nurse on 3-South at RCH. Anne was a mentor to many and will be missed by all. Please join us for a Celebration of Anne's life Friday May 9th at 1pm at St. Laurence Anglican Church: 825 St. Laurence Ave. Coquitlam. BC.
