Obituary for Sandra Buonafede
Sandra Buonafede (nee Gardiman) passed away suddenly on July 20, 2018 at the age of 79. She is loved and will be missed by her family and friends. Sandra was born in Vittorio Veneto, Italy. She was an active member of the Italian community in Vancouver since 1968 and worked for the Hudson’s Bay Co. downtown. She was the wife of Gino (deceased) and mother to Dennis (Teresa) and Claudio (Nicole). Cherished Nonna to Alex and Jo-Anne; and Abby and Joey.
The Buonafede and Gardiman families in Italy also share in this loss.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on July 28, 2018 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 3141 Shaughnessy St., Port Coquitlam. Reception to follow at St. Helen's Church hall, 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby, B.C. V5C 2A6.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of All Saints Parish in Coquitlam.
The Buonafede and Gardiman families in Italy also share in this loss.
