Condolence: In Memoriam for Terry Church
Our heartfelt thoughts and sincerest condolences to Pat Church and her family at this time. Terry will be remembered by us for his leadership, support, wisdom, foresight, competitive spirit; philosophizing about vet issues, agriculture and life in general; and, for me in particular, his impeccable and complete lecture notes.
Terry was indeed a trusted and true friend.

Condolence From: Terry & Michele Veeman
Condolence: Our sincere sympathy to Pat and family. We were shocked and saddened to learn of Terry's passing.

My friendship with Terry goes back to our undergraduate student days as Agros in the (then) College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan from 1958 to 1962. The Agros, a tight knit group, worked and played hard. Terry had a major role in student leadership of the Ag Students Association as Vice-President in his final year and I was very pleased to serve with him. Terry could always be relied on and was fun to be with. He was also a tough lineman and leader on the Agros intermural football team which won the championship for the first time in the fall of 1961.
Terry will be greatly missed, not the least at future class reunions (where some of the tales are true).

We salute a life well lived, one with outstanding contributions to both veterinary medicine and leadership. Our sincere condolences.

Condolence: I wish to send my sincere condolences to Terry's family and friends.

Terry was a friend and mentor to me on wildlife and livestock health issues. I looked forward to talking with him when he was at the Millarville Market, to hear his stories, discuss recent happenings in wildlife management, and talk all things bison, elk and reindeer. He was deeply knowledgeable and passionate about game farming and related wildlife health issues, and he was an animated and charismatic story teller.

Condolence: Our condolences to Terry's family for the loss of one of the most innovative and adventuresome veterinarians I have known. Terry's impact on the Cross Conservation area and Red Deer Lake area has resulted in the development of a unique opportunity to work with Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch for the O’Connor family and eventually led to public education of our food supply in the Calgary area environment, now known as Granary Road. This includes not only farmer's market but educational opportunities for students and adults. It is with great pride that I have known Terry in all of these activities for many years.

Condolence: I am sorry to hear the sad news about Terry. He was a fellow division director with me in Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development for many years. Terry was a great colleague and made a significant positive contribution to the agriculture and food industry. He had a great sense of humour and was well liked and respected by both staff and members of the industry. Truly one of the good guys, Terry will be sadly missed.
