The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Attilio Girardi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My love goes out to you and yours as you mourn the loss of your patriarch. I will always remember with awe and fondness the love I witnessed as a teen between Lora and her dad. Spending time with you and yours helped to shape how my adult self wanted a family to be. An adoring parent with a strict and loving hand to guide the young to be good people. Silly, but one of the things I remember vividly is that Mr. Girardi gave me a magazine that was filled with pictures of Michael Jackson because he knew I loved him. I treasured it so much that I papered the back of my bedroom door with the pics. Like I said, a silly thing, but it brings a smile of joy to my face when I think about it. That's how I remember him. Wanting to spread smiles. As you mourn the loss of this great man, don't forget to carry forward his greatness. It lives on in you.
