I met Grant in the 70's when he was a student at SFU, and I worked in the Physics Department there. Over time, we became close friends ... we shared many adventures and lots of laughs. I will always remember his rendition of Gene Kelly's Singing in the Rain, umbrella and all. I had not seen him for a few years. The last time I did, he was the same ... full of stories and laughter. I will miss him.
