A ride on the wild side

I was visiting the Klocks in Sommers, CT.  I was 10 or 11, fat, ucoordinated, and had never been on a horse before.  Judy was an excellent rider even at that  age.  Judy was bareback, and she got me up on a older, slower horse.  Away we went.   I was getting the idea on how to stay on the horse.  Judy was ahead and I was going slowly.  Then Judy decided to speed up.  My horse too.  Going around a corner, I left the horse headfirst in a bramble and lost my glasses.   I finally found my glasses.  Judy had a good laugh, then got me up on the horse to go back to the barn.  needless to say at supper everybody had something to say about my equistrian ability.
