The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leagh Thomson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

From a student

I was a student at Moscrop Secondary, and had the pleasure of being Ms. Thomson's student for 3 consecutive years. She taught me everything I needed to know about writing, and gave her support not only as a teacher, but also as a mentor. I'm now a teacher in Burnaby myself, and I attribute a great deal to my years with Ms. Thomson with regards to where I am now as a teacher; she truly inspired me. I am so, so sorry to hear of her passing, and I send my most heartfelt condolences to her family.
