Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marion Cumming can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Kevin Ferris
Condolence: I first met Mom (Marion) in late 1979, shortly after I began dating her lovely daughter, Barbara. Right away, Mom made me feel very welcome at their home in St James (in Winnipeg). I also enjoyed times that we shared at the family cottage at Minaki Ontario in the early 1980’s. When Mom & Gordon moved to Saudi Arabia they let me move into their house with Barbara & bother Gordie.
After Barbara & I got married we immediately moved to Vancouver BC. Mom & Gordon followed us shortly after. They stayed with us while they looked for a house. Once they moved in to their house in Burnaby they got a dachshund named Tecky . We spent many afternoons/evenings enjoying their company & Mom’s great cooking. We always felt very welcome at their house.
In 1992 we moved to Fort St John, BC for two years. We were very happy that Mom & her sister Joan drove for 15 hours to visit us. Before we moved back to the Lower Mainland we adopted two Basset Hounds. When Barbara & I took part in sporting events with our company Mom would come over & visit with our dogs & feed them. She was so nice to do this for us.
I was sad when Mom needed to be moved to a care home & now very sad that she is gone from our lives.
