Mary Jamesina  Kaake (Buloch)
Mary Kaake passed away very peacefully on July 1, 2016 at the age of 86 years old, in Coquitlam, B.C.

Mary was born to late Nicholas and Veronica Buloch, June 22, 1930 in Renfrew, Ontario. She married the late Kenneth Kaake in 1952; they were married 62 years residing in Coquitlam, B.C. Mary is survived by three children Allen, Deborah, Gerald; Mary has 3 grandchildren: Shaun, Kelley, Jennifer; 1 great grandchild: Owen; 1 sister Rose; 10 nieces; 10 nephews. Mary had a great love for her family; she was a kind, compassionate, wonderful lady and mother.

Mary’s interests were bowling, dancing, singing, volleyball, playing horseshoe tournaments at Black Mountain Ranch, but most of all her passion was baseball she played on the Dogwood baseball team in Coquitlam for 27 years (1984-2011) and other women baseball teams over her lifetime. Mary was a member of TOPS for 30 years. Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to New Westminster Aerie No.20 Fraternal Order of Eagles for 35 years.

The memorial service for Mary Kaake will be held on August 6, 2016 Burquitlam Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., 625 North Road Coquitlam, B.C. There will be a reception to follow in the Fireside Room.

Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
