Bear hug

The last few weeks have been so difficult for my mom, ee, Chia Kung, aunt and cousin. It has been so difficult for everyone. We are sad that our beloved uncle has left us so soon. I can't imagine what my Auntie Anne and cousin Amanda are going through. My heart breaks for them as I know my uncle was such a good man, loving husband and father; he adored Amanda. I was thinking about the last time there was a funeral on my mom's side of the family. I was 7 and it was for my Tai Tai. No one from this side of the family has passed since my Tai Tai and now Uncle Mike. I wonder if my Tai Tai has been waiting and waiting for someone to join her in heaven. I wonder if she is saddened that Uncle Mike left us too soon, but happy to see her grandson again. The best memory I have of my uncle is no matter how old I was, if I was 4 and he had come to visit, or if I was 30 and we bumped into each other downtown, I would always get the biggest, warmest bear hug ever, no matter how old I was. QQ we will miss you dearly but I know there is a big bear hug waiting for you in heaven.
