A Fun Dinner With Paul & Susanna
I first met both Paul & Susanna at our wedding in downtown Vancouver, in 2009. Paul is a long-time friend of my husbands' and we both instantly loved Susanna too.
Later, we invited them for dinner at our West End loft and gave them the "West End experience" of walking around our neighborhood, to some dicey spots on Davie and ending up on Robson Street for a nightcap. They reciprocated and invited us for an adventure to their Coquitlam home to "catch our dinner." As in driving to their nearby lake (forget which one that was!) with their dinghy and catching crabs with crab traps. Who could pass that up? What a fun adventure that was! We did just that and caught more than our allowable catch so threw back the excess. Back at their house, they cooked up the crabs and we had a delectable and fresh feast that we'll never forget.
Paul, you have left too soon but we thank you for being in our lives and our hearts and love pour out to you, Susanna and the kids.
Hopefully you can catch some live crabs where you live now :-)
