Obituary for Pauline Brow (Collette)

Pauline Brow (Collette)
Marie Pauline Brow (nee Collette)
June 24, 1935 – November 5, 2015

It is with very heavy hearts after a long battle with Alzheimers that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Pauline Brow.

Pauline was born in Chauvin, Alberta, on June 24, 1935, the youngest daughter of Philip and Clara Collette. Pauline and her parents moved to BC in 1949, and settled on Charland Ave in Coquitlam where she met the boy next door and the love of her life, Bill Brow. They married in 1956, purchased a home on the same street where together they raised their five children and eleven grandchildren and shared their strong beliefs of family, love, faith and community.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband Bill of 59 years, and her five children and spouses: Joanne (Dave) Thackray, Dave (Julie) Brow, Janet Rossi, Robert (Debbie) Brow, and Maggie (Scott) Madden. Her laughter and humour will be missed by her loving grandchildren: Steven, Leigh, Matt, Cody, Duncan, Devlin, Elizabeth, Neil, Dean, Aidan and Brett.

Pauline is survived by her two loving sisters, Irene Cumberland and Evelyn Christie and numerous family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Simpson Manor in Fort Langley for the exceptional care of Pauline for the last two years. She continued to make friends with her sense of humour and gentle soul until her last days.
She will be missed! In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC are appreciated.
