The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Morris can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I want to extend heartfelt condolences to you Jan, Jason and Greg ( and families) on the passing of Bob. I have many fond memories of Bob on the golf course, at "teacher meetings" and around Whistler. He was consistently cheerful, entertaining and full of wisdom. May your drives be long and straight, and your putts true and accurate, Bob. You will be missed dearly.

Condolence: Jan, Our heart goes out to you and family. Bob was a wonderful person and especially loved as a math teacher by my 3 children. He had a wonderful sense of life and could embrace the most brash of children with a smile. I remember a summer course in math with the Whistler Mountain Ski Club when he was explaining something and Michael said to him with the utmost respect - "Mr Morris - I have an idea - you teach me and I will teach the others". I guess it was a concept Michael got and the others were struggling with. Others would have been annoyed by this young lad but not Bob - he just laughed and agreed. I was honoured to sit on a few committees with Bob and the one I remember the clearest was at the start up of Whistler Secondary. It was in that moment that I was motivated to run for the School Board because of wonderful teachers like Bob. Never forgotten - many memories - Andree, Bill, Britt, Michael and Stephanie Janyk

Condolence: To Jan, Jason, Thuy, Zara, Dan Thanh, Greg, Ilsy, Sebastian, and Nacho (the cat), We send our love and sympathy to you and we hope that you are doing well during this difficult time. We are keeping you in our prayers. We are thankful that Bob passed easily and in the way he chose. I spent a lot of time with Bob, as his roomate, at San Diego State University. It worked out so well for Bob and me because of Bob's kind, easy going nature. We had some fun and enjoyed a bit of free time away from our studies too. I am certain that you feel lost without him now. But please try to focus on all of the wonderful times you had with him. Try to remember those favourite days that you spent with him and that will help. Take care of yourselves! Love and best wishes to during this difficult time. Craig 604 935 8677- Please call, anytime, if I may be of some help.

Condolence: Uncle Bob always had such good advice for us. We loved talking to him about golf and our teaching careers. We hope he is playing well at the golf course in heaven. Maybe he will even get a hole in one!
