A Good Friend

I was saddened to discover Wayne's obituary just recently. Wayne and I attended King George Secondary School in Vancouver and were in the same grade. He was a good and dear friend. I remember him as kind, supportive and possessing a great sense of humour. We often studied together at his home on Pendrell Street. I well remember the sporty red car he drove.

After graduation, Wayne and I lost track of each other. I remember that he went into pharmacy and I became a teacher and later a principal in Surrey. Over the years, I wondered what had happened to Wayne and I tried to find him, but was not able to do so. I regret that we never kept in touch after our graduation from King George Secondary in 1965. 

I extend my belated condolences to Wayne's family. Please know that I very much respected him and was proud to be his friend.
