The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jesse Burges can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Jesse

Jesse,

Father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, friend and my nephew.  Beautiful inside and out.  I miss you so much my heart hurts.  I loved you more than you could have ever known and our family will never be the same now that you are gone.  You were an amazing dad and a wonderful "uncle" to my children - you had a gift when it came to kids - perhaps because you knew how to be a kid yourself.  You had a heart of gold and everyone loved you.  Always willing to lend a hand.  Infamous for just showing up and even more infamous for being late!  I'd give anything for you to be just running late right now . . .

The little boy who was always happy to have a party at his house - he loved to entertain and serve drinks and appies by the pool.  Not to mention all the nips he'd take from the beer keg.  I will never forget all the fun we had (you, Joel, me and Dad) - they were the best summers and I will cherish them always.

It's true what they say - we never get a chance to say the things we really want to say before it's too late.  I wish I had told you how much you meant to me, how much I loved you, how proud I was of you, the man you had become and the father that you were.  I would tell you you that all the time I spent with you and Joel when you were young made me think of you both as my little brothers.  You will never be forgotten my sweet Jess.

Everyday I close my eyes and hear your laugh - it was the best laugh - I will never let that go.

I love you Jezzba . . . till we meet again.
