The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alistair McIntosh can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Teri & family. So sorry to hear about your Dad. I have many fond memories of him & I think that in EVERY one (except maybe when he was napping) he was smiling or laughing! He was probably even smiling in his sleep! His happy energy & 'joie de vivre' was infectious...

Energy Man
I have many wonderful memories of Alistair: riding a wagon down the steep street by the McIntosh home in Burnaby (great ride down but a heck of a walk back up); relay races at the Olsen farm - Grant, Bruce and I would take turns running against Al, but he...

Visits to the Farm

Grandpa Al
Grandpa came and stayed with my brother and I when Mom went away. I was able to talk Grandpa into playing football (I would jump on the trampoline and he would throw it) .... for about 4 hours! I threw the football too hard and it went into the gutter .......

I can only recall a few times that our Olsen family visited with the McIntosh's but they were really good memories. One of the most interesting times was in Newberg at Anne & Kim's wedding and how much fun it was to stay in the derelict hotel where we would...

Cousin Al
We all have our fond memories of our cousin. Like the time we 3 Higginson boys all rode down a dirt path at the Olds farm on one bicycle that Al was riding. That we were able to do it and not kill ourselves, and how our parents ever allowed it to happen...
