I have had a really hard time starting this because I can’t even imagine a Blake Point with out Colleen in it! It breaks my heart. We have always been so thankful to live beside and become family with Fred and Colleen. It is just all the little things. Everybody says how great she made them feel and it is true. She made every situation fun. She was so caring and thoughtful. I don’t think she ever went to Salmon Arm for pies and didn’t bring us back one. One of my early memories is when one of our big Shuswap Lake storms came up quick, it was dark, and the guys were all getting the boats out and I was in the water about knee deep doing something with her new sea doo and just remember her yelling at me constantly to be careful. She was so concerned for me in that water. She was the one who got me playing tennis, too, along with many at Blake Point. Such a good “coach”. Every time she found a frog in her hot tub she either brought it over for the boys or let them come “catch” it. I love the special relationship her and Darryl shared. Such a special lady that it is really too hard to put into words what she meant to us. I just hope she knew..and you do Fred. Love you both.
