The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Colleen Hewett can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Colleen at Blue Mountain

I first met Colleen at Blue Mountain Tennis Club when she burst into our tennis world. She arrived with flair, perfectly attired and coiffed. She jumped into tennis with two feet, determined to learn the game as quickly as possible. She became a regular at the club, taking lessons, playing as often as possible, and entertaining us with her stories. I remember Colleen sitting in her (cardboard) "box seat" while enjoying and critiquing the league play of the "Big Girls." Even in those early days, I admired her fearless competitive spirit. I will miss her.
