The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Colleen Hewett can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Our Colleen

Colleen, what does a person say about a woman who was so very full of life. Colleen had a fabulous sense of humour and was very quick whitted. I have many memories of her antics, and there were many of them. She entertained us with her people stories. She had us laughing and crying so hard, we almost peed ourselves. We had a lot of wonderful trips together which each one having its own special Event! I met Colleen through Pat Borsato in Salmon Arm. There was an even deeper past connection through the Holt family as Colleen was a 4H member and my in laws were the leaders of the group for Richmond/Delta. Around our dinner table for years they would reminisce and Colleens name would come up, wondering where she might be. Well, as fate would have it, she and I were both connected through Pat and the friendship evolved from that day. How fortunate was I to have ad her in my life. I will miss her in more ways than you will know but I will have my memories. No one will miss her more than her little Freddie and I hope he will remain in my life so we can reminisce about the good old days and the wonderful person our Colleen was. With much sadness, Gale
