The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marguerite Thiessen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Hi Uncle Ben, Darrel, Carolyn, and family. We are saddened to hear that auntie Marg passed away, but happy at the same time to know that she is with Jesus… no more pain & discomfort, and free to run and dance like I’m sure she’s wanted to for a while. I have many wonderful memories with you all growing up in Grande Prairie, and they usually involved an amazing meal that aunt Marg had prepared. One of the best memories is when you all showed us your ski equipment, I think I was about 5. That has led to almost 5 decades of skiing with our families, and countless marvellous memories… thank you! Maybe aunt Marg is back on her skiis in heaven… Sorry we won’t be able to be there for the funeral, but please know our prayers will be with you.
