The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marguerite Thiessen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Hi Uncle Ben, Carolyn, Darryl and Bridget, It was with a great deal of sadness that we received the news while here in Nairobi, Kenya, that Aunt Margaret had passed on. I will always remember how special it was when you and Aunt Marg would visit our family way back on the farm in DeBolt. Then later when I attended GP College and worked at the Plywood mill, you were both so supportive and hospitable. Meeting you with Vange, much later, it was always very special to enjoy your hospitality, engage in meaningful conversations and be inspired by your faith and life's journey. May you know that we love you dearly and that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for strength during this time of loss and grief. You can know that Aunt Marg's legacy will live on through the thoughtfulness and kindness that we and many others have consistently experienced throughout her lifetime.
